Tri County Area Schools is once again participating in the USDA’s Summer Meals program. This program is for ALL 18 years old or younger, and up to age 26 for those children who participate in a school program for people with disabilities. Children DO NOT need to be enrolled at TCAS in order to participate in this FREE program.
Each child will receive a week’s worth of shelf stable food items, frozen items, and fresh produce, as well as two half gallons of milk: one white and one chocolate. All items will need to be taken as a requirement of the USDA regulations. Families will also be expected to assist in the pickup process this year by exiting your vehicle to pick up food items at different stations. Tables will be set up outside the middle school kitchen, with our fabulous food service staff ready to assist you.
The Summer Meals program pickup will run every Thursday, from 9:15am-12:15pm, beginning June 12th through August 7th, and will be located at Tri County Middle School, on the east end of the building near the kitchen door. Please be aware that due to construction on our campus near the Kendaville entrance, you will be required to enter the TC campus via the Amy School Rd entrance near the high school and will be required to exit using the Kendaville exit at the west end of the middle school. Vehicles not following these instructions will be redirected.
